Sand Bars in Ring Harbour and Clonakilty Bay
Clonakilty is a sheltered coastal town in West Cork that features a shallow bay that meets with Ring pier on its path to the ocean. Small fishing tugs can often be seen along this coastline, as the bay provides sheltered anchorage, while low tides expose charming swathes of white and yellow sandbank.
Sand Bars in Ring Harbour and Clonakilty Bay was inspired by the close study of this landscape, local to the artist.
