Over the course of three years, the artist undertook a close study of the lives of Irish light keepers, stretching from Fastnet Rock to Fanad Head. The result is a considered and sympathetic collection of artworks that capture not just the lighthouses themselves, but the stories and lives of those that so faithfully manned them.

Awash with blue and grey, this dramatic depiction of the Galley Head lighthouse captures the play of light and dark on a stormy summer's day.
